No more clicking the power button, one click is all you need to turn off the screen.

Lock It is a very small app while being efficient.

For android versions 4.1(Jelly Bean) to 5.1.1(Lollipop): Swipe up from the home button to lock screen quickly

For Android 6.0(marshmallow) & above: Choose the default Assist app and then long-press the home button to lock the screen.

To uninstall: Go to Settings -> Security -> Device administrators -> deselect Lock It then uninstall in a normal way.

Ratings and reviews

This is ultimate app for lock screen. Never hung, never had issues. Nothing. And you just have to touch it to lock screen. Device administration obviously. That's it. Just one problem which is, even with your fingerprint unlock, you have to type password everytime to unlock if you have locked your screen with this app. And I'm still fine with it. So 5 stars.

Works fine. It is simple, free, and more importantly no ads. Once locked with this app (or probably with other similar apps), there one issue for people who wants to unlock with fingerprint. We're forced to unlock through pattern since the device is locked by admin. I wonder if it is possible to fix.

Only plus point is no ads. Two major problems:. 1) on my phone using the app means I have to enter my PIN to unlock. Doesn't accept fingerprint like with normal time-delay lock. 2) uninstall can only be done via PlayStore. Not sure about using settings. But you can't use the context menu to uninstall like for most other apps.
