Smile Capture watches for your smile and takes the photo the instant it arrives. Point the camera
at your face, grin, and it fires. That's the whole app.

WHY IT'S BETTER THAN A SELF-TIMER

A timer fires whether you're ready or not, and you can see it in the photo — the held smile, the
frozen face waiting for the beep. Smile Capture waits for you instead. The shutter goes when the
smile is real, so the photo looks like the moment rather than the countdown.

THREE WAYS TO SHOOT

Solo — fires the moment your smile crosses the line you set.

Group — waits until EVERY face in frame is smiling. No more group photos where one person blinked
or hadn't got there yet. It genuinely holds out for the whole room.

Timer — the classic countdown, for when you want the shot regardless.

TUNE IT TO YOUR FACE

Everyone smiles differently, so the trigger is adjustable:

- Smile sensitivity — slide from an easy grin to a full beam. Turn it down if the app is being
fussy, up if it's firing at a polite half-smile.
- Hold time — how long the smile has to last before the shutter goes, from 0.4 to 1.2 seconds.
Short for spontaneity, longer if you want to be sure.
- Face guide — show or hide the on-screen detection overlay.

KEEP THE BEST ONE

Turn on Best of three and each capture fires a short burst, then offers you the strongest smile
first. Swipe to the others, tag a mood, keep the one you want and the rest are discarded. Nothing
is saved until you say so.

BUILD A SMILE HABIT

Smile Capture keeps a running record of your smiles:

- Day streaks, and your longest streak ever
- A 28-day grid showing which days you captured something
- Your smile score across the last seven days
- Your best smile, and the day it happened
- A shareable card summarising your streak

There's a home screen widget with your current streak, the last week at a glance and your most
recent capture. An optional evening reminder nudges you only when your streak is actually at
risk — never just because it's 8pm.

YOUR FACE STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

Smile detection runs entirely on your device. Camera frames are analysed as they arrive and
thrown away immediately — they are never uploaded, never stored, and never sent anywhere. There
is no account to create and no sign-in.

Photos you keep are saved to your own phone. Turn on Private vault and captures are kept out of
the phone gallery entirely, so they don't appear in other apps.
