Ratings and reviews

The content is excellent, but the app interface is garbage. First and foremost: there is no provision to continue watching when you leave the app and come back later. Second, there is no ability to add shows or series to a "watch next" queue. Instead, you have to rely on your memory to search for a show you were watching, then you have to remember which episode you last watched. Come on, every streaming app has this. And implement it across all platforms that the ap is available on.

Heinous app. Came trying to view/download articles from Outside (which have been, and still are fantastic) but the app only allows to view videos and movies. Feels like it's forcibly pushing video content on those of us interested in reading the articles that made Outside the go-to for all our outdoor cravings. I travel a ton, so having articles on hand is always desirable, but having an app that forces me into yet another streaming service (without wanting this when I subscribed) not so much.

As noted in another review, this subscription only works on Android devices and is not cross platform. Therefore, you are unable to watch content via Outside+'s website and instead forced to use the Outside+ app only. In addition, you do not have access to other sister platforms, like GAIA and TrailForks. Now, I have to rebuy the subscription. uuuhh
