Nibble is a cozy logic puzzle about settling hamsters into their burrows.
Every board has one rule and one answer: place exactly one hamster in each row, each column, and each coloured burrow. Hamsters are territorial, so no two may sit in touching squares — not even diagonally. That is the whole game. What grows is not the rule, but what the rule can be made to hide.
200 HAND-GRADED LEVELS
A trail climbs through ten worlds, and each world is where the puzzles start asking for a new kind of reasoning — overlapping burrows, reserved pairs, forcing chains. The game teaches a technique before it ever demands it.
NO GUESSING, EVER
Every board is proved to have exactly one solution, and proved solvable by reasoning a person can actually follow. If a puzzle could only be cracked by trial and error, it did not make it into the game. You are never asked to gamble.
A HINT THAT TEACHES
Stuck? The hint shows you the next step of the reasoning — which square, and why. It never hands you an answer. You still solve the board.
PLAY ANYWHERE, OFFLINE
No account. No sign-in. No internet needed to play. Your progress lives on your device, and the whole game is there from the moment it installs.
EARN YOUR STARS
Levels are rated one to three stars: start at three, lose one for taking a hint, lose one for finishing over par. Replaying can raise a rating but never lowers it. Stars bank seeds, and seeds unlock painted scenes, coats and sound packs for your burrow.
MADE TO BE CALM
Warm colours, a hand-drawn hamster, four soundtracks and four sound packs to choose between. No timers shouting at you, no lives that lock you out for hours, no streaks to protect. Put it down mid-puzzle and pick it up exactly where you left off.
Nibble is free, supported by ads. You can watch an ad by choice for a free hint or to skip a board — declining always leaves the game fully playable. There is nothing to buy: every seed and every scene in the game is earned by playing.
