Your phone is full, and videos are usually the reason. Compress Video shows you which videos take the most space and shrinks them right on your phone — nothing is uploaded.
SEE WHAT EATS YOUR STORAGE
• Your videos sorted by size, biggest first, with the total size of your library at the top.
• Filter by large files (over 100 MB), camera videos, screen recordings or downloads.
• Select several videos at once and see the total before you start. The free version compresses up to 2 per run.
KNOW THE SIZE BEFORE YOU START
• Every level shows a "≤ MB" ceiling for your videos — the real file usually lands smaller.
• Four levels: Smallest, Balanced, High quality and Keep the resolution.
• Fit a size limit: tell the app the largest size you need, for example 25 MB for an email attachment, and it aims below it.
• Trim a single video before compressing it.
CHECK THE RESULT, THEN DECIDE
• Every compressed file is checked — its length and its first and last frames — before it counts as done.
• Compare before and after with a slider, or play the compressed file inside the app.
• Keep both copies, or delete the originals to get the space back. Originals are removed only after you confirm in the system dialog.
• When the original has a capture date, the compressed copy keeps it, so your gallery stays in order.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Compression runs on your phone's own video encoder.
• No upload, no account, no sign-in.
• Compressing works with the network off.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Keep the app open while it compresses — the screen stays on until it is done. If you leave, compressing stops and you can finish the rest from the home screen later.
• Compressed videos are saved in Movies/Compressed.
• If you prefer not to give access to your entire video library, you can pick videos one by one.
• Free with ads. Pro is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription: it removes all ads and lets you compress more than 2 videos per run.
• Available in 12 languages.
