Chalkledge turns your phone or tablet into a familiar classroom chalkboard where you can quickly write down reminders, deadlines, and events. Designed for teachers and educators, the app focuses on simplicity so you can capture what matters without tapping through complex menus. The Board tab acts as your daily dashboard, displaying two chalk-drawn counters: one for total reminders and another for how many are due today. You also see the next three upcoming reminders sorted by due date, giving you an instant preview of what’s ahead. Adding a reminder feels natural—just fill in a title, choose a category like urgent, routine, or event, select a due date, and add optional notes. Category colors appear as small chalk underlines beneath each reminder, with yellow for urgent, blue for routine, and pink for events. All your entries are shown as handwritten chalk text on a dark green board framed by a wooden border and a bottom tray. In the Reminders tab, you can scroll through your full list, swipe to delete, or tap to open and edit any detail. The Search tab lets you find a specific reminder by typing a few letters, instantly filtering your chalkboard list. Since everything is stored locally on your device, you never need an account, a network connection, or a subscription—your reminders stay private and accessible anytime. The bottom navigation uses colored chalk sticks that rest on the tray, and the active stick glows slightly so you always know where you are. This completely offline design means you can rely on Chalkledge in the back of a classroom, during assembly, or anywhere reception is weak. By replacing scattered sticky notes and heavy planners with a clean chalkboard interface, Chalkledge helps you focus on teaching instead of tracking. Stay ahead of your schedule and reduce daily clutter with a tool that feels like a natural extension of your classroom routine.
