APS X allows alarm monitoring stations using SECURITHOR software (Securithor - http://www.securithor.com) to receive panic alarms from their subscribers as well as monitoring on-time arrival at a predefined time and location. When a panic alarm is received by the central station, the dispatcher can contact the user with the information they have on file or send help to the GPS location where the alarm was sent from. With the follow me feature, alarms are automatically sent at a user defined interval, allowing to trace the GPS route sent from the device.
APS+ additional features:
-Secondary alarm button for Road Side Assistance, Fire and Medical alert. Contact your service provider to insure you have coverage for these alerts.
-Friends feature to sent location notification to 10 friends. Notifications are sent via email or SMS. Check with your service provider to enable the Friends button.
SMS are sent using your default Text Message. You might incure some fees for sending SMS.
-Rendez-vous: new feature to specify a location/time/date where you will be. Activates a countdown and tracking with your Service Provider.
Might ask confirmation of fitness and send tracking to your Service Provider once activated.
-Pairing with the BTB, Bluetooth Remote Button from MCDI. BTB can activate the main alert button without having the app on screen.

N.B.:
Do not remove previous APS app without confirming with your Service Provider. APS+ will require a new activation code and some service levels might not be available from your usual Service Provider.
The APS+ app does not send SMS on Alert. Check with your service provider if you want to retain this feature.
