"Gaeta in app" official app of the city of Gaeta, entirely free and designed for tourists and residents.
An innovative app that uses state-of-the-art technologies, which allow for a surprising and completely new level of visitor-city interaction, for a unique and unforgettable experience!
The goal is to enhance the territory by telling not only the natural beauty, history and numerous monuments that make it a real open-air museum, but establishing a direct contact with the visitor, accompanying him step by step to discover the typical products , of the traditions and activities of the place: all elements that contribute to making the City of Gaeta a unique and wonderful place that is worth living at 360 °.
Functionality:
Search : search for content by entering textual keywords (TAG);
Scan QR : view the contents by scanning the QR code using the integrated camera;
Around me : view all the points of interest around you, in map or list mode;
Attractions : a large container of all places of interest divided into categories (monuments, churches, museums, beaches, landscapes, nature, recreational areas) and told by our tourist guides. Listen to the exclusive historical contents and anecdotes that our experts have written and told for you. For a quick consultation you will also have a brief description available. As a frame, photos of the state of the art and ancient shots in black and white;
Itineraries : a full immersion in nature and history, personalized and continuously updated itineraries that you can choose based on your interests.
Typical products : a column dedicated to the history and culinary traditions of the territory, with cards dedicated to the km0 products and to the typical local dishes that you can enjoy in the recommended activities;
Experiences : experiential activities, between sea and land, that will contribute to making your stay unforgettable;
