Edit: changing to 1 star. The app is useless. Location monitoring does not work. I hope MG will find the location if the button is pressed, but it does not show real time updates for location. When it does show a location it is never correct. The Lively app is much better at location monitoring. Other features in the app don't work either (the history bar charts for example). Might have made a mistake switching from Lively to Medical Guardian.

Fall detection never alerted me after my Mother had fallen two different times. The GPS "updates"once per hour and is NOT accurate. The step counter doesn't work. It either registers "zero" or once it gave me some outlandish number that even I have never done in one day. I definitely wouldn't rely on it. Highly disappointed for what I paid for the system to ensure my Mom's safety!

The app is missing basic functionality. A simple notification when the device drops below 20% battery level. The latency between the device and the app is bad. The app gained 10% more battery power when the device was removed from the charger and waited 45 minutes to display the correct location. I am concerned that the device will not perform as advertised when there is an actual emergency. After reading the reviews, I will say that if my mom falls & it fails to call, there will be a lawsuit.
