It verifies all the most important interactions between supplements and drugs, their consequences, the responsible mechanisms, if described in the literature, the measures to be taken in case of negative consequences, etc.

Since it is unthinkable that we can know all the interactions, their consequences, the way to avoid them or limit their negative effects and, above all, it is not possible to keep ourselves constantly updated in this continually evolving and expanding field, the Pharmacology section, of the University “G. D'Annunzio" of Chieti-Pescara and the Regional Anti-Doping Center of the Emilia-Romagna Region, have satisfied this need for knowledge by offering an innovative, original and easily transferable application tool to the sports doctor and the user.

The choice was to create an IT interface: the method deemed most suitable because the availability of an online tool facilitates consultation to verify if and how such adverse reactions occur.
