They completely ignored my criteria and gave me 3 random matches. Then I didn't get any more matches. I don't get what the point is with this app.

An extremely passive app with vast amounts of data entry to get to the "now you wait" screen. And waiting means a wait for one possible person out there to do the same long data entry process, and hopefully, hopefully, the app creator's own algorithm determines you're a match. It would be better if I could then determine with a slider some sort of "proximity to my preferences" so something would actually happen. Deleted it.

Hi Jacob! That's exactly the point with Fika, you wait to get matched and don't do any swiping, liking, and chatting. We do the matching based on the compatibility test in the onboarding :) Fika is for people who want to get matched with vetted people, skip the online-focused date admin, and meet in real life - hope this clarified. Extremely drawn out registration process just to see whatever this app is about. If you have the patience for that, go ahead - I don't.

Hi Janos! That is exactly the point, to get to know people to be able to match them. A longer registration process also helps to vet out people who don't have the patience to put 10 minutes into information that will match them with a compatible member, so it works quite well in that sense too.
