MEGAPATA Picture Editor V1 is specially designed for an intuitive and user-friendly experience, with big buttons, useful shortcuts and a natural flow.
Quick Edit : Easily choose a photo/picture from your gallery, crop it as needed, resize, export and share !
When cropping, you can use free hand or automatically anchor your selection to a choosen ratio from a list of standard or cinema ones : very useful if you often have to crop/resize pictures to fit a specific shape like a 16:9 or 9:16 Digital Picture Frame for example.
For more artistic needs, or if a few annotations on the picture are needed, take next step with jumping from "Quick Edit" to in-app multi-layer "Drawing Project". Take advantage of the "Edit" templates to quickly get a configuration adapted to your needs :
1 / just a few annotations and simple drawings on top of the picture ?
2 / some highlighting needed over some scanned/photographed text ?
3 / wanna colorize your favorite black & white drawings ?
Easily use this app to paint behind any sketch or drawing outline, either found online or from your own creation !
Just load the picture, click "Edit", apply template and you're ready.
Note : the template system is not a special mode but a helper : it simplifies basic layer configuration to save you time, but you still have access granted to each generated layer data and every parameter can be changed afterwards when needed.
Original artists can also directly start away from a fresh blank page of the desired ratio and resolution with the "Create Canvas" option.
As for the drawing/edit tools, they are voluntarily quite basic and as simple as they shall be for the target usage. This is no app for "AI does it all" magic, but rather an app to feel the pleasure to sketch and paint directly on your screen, where no one but yourself is responsible for each move, and feel proud of your human progress and creations.
Color palettes can be customised, saved and loaded from one project to one another, so that you can pick colors from a first picture in order to create your ideal palette, save it and then reload it after you opened the drawing or second picture you were planning to work on.
When you get used to it, you can even make it a creative anti-stress activity to simply load any picture and draw on top of it, colorize behind, or start a digital sketch from scratch : create several layers, play with blending modes, unleash your personal creativity and share your talent with your friends !

What’s new

Drawing Editor update : new widget available for current tool easy check-up, access and shortcuts. Makes it much easier to switch quickly from eraser to brush & vice versa, and to adjust one by one tool size for fine tuning. UI is now simplified concerning Layers panel as well as they now have a fully separate button to show/hide, same way as does the tool widget for tool options.
