Measurement Process:
1. Scenario: New measurement
This scenario describes the workflow from creating a measurement file to generating the final report.
- Open the application and navigate to the Settings page. Tap the Bluetooth button, scan for available FRAX200 devices, and connect to the desired device from the list.
- Go to the Test Setup page and enter all required parameters (Vector group, Phase Shift, Tap Changer, etc.). After completing the configuration, tap the CONTINUE button.
- The Nameplate page will open. Fill in required transformer information and tap Save Nameplate to create the measurement file.
- The Test page will open. Select a sweep and press Play button.
Note:
Before each measurement, an automatic ground loop detection (GLD) test is performed to verify that all cables are properly connected. If a problem is detected, a pop-up message will indicate a faulty or improperly connected cable. Manual GLD test can be done tapping the GLD button and wait 5–10 seconds.
Adding a demagnetisation sweep:
- Tap button Add Demag
- In the Add Demagnetisation Sweep dialog tap Add
- The demagnetisation sweep will appear at the end of the sweep list. Select it and start the measurement by tapping Play.
It is possible to add up to three Demagnetisation sweeps. After the third sweep is added, the Add Demag button becomes disabled. In most cases one demagnetisation sweep is sufficient.
- After the SFRA sweep is completed successfully, repeat the process for the remaining sweeps.
Analysis of the results
- Select Analyzer page from mani menu. Calculations are performed automatically and the Conclusion is displayed in the results table. Three are available:
- DL/T 911-2004
- Correlation analysis
- NCEPRI
Reporting
- Select Report page from mani menu. Select the report format (A4 or Letter). It is possible to upload different logo using Upload Logo. Tap Export PDF to generate the report.
2. Scenario: Using reference measurement (Use as Template)
This scenario describes how to use an existing FRAX file as a template for creating a new measurement.
- Open the application and connect the FRAX 200 device.
- Select Test Setup page from main menu and load a FRAX file as a template:
- Check the checkboxes 'Load reference file' and 'Use as template'
. Use the Search field to locate the file. Tap the file name.
- The Nameplate page will open automatically.
All template data are displayed in the fields. The Test Date will be filled in automatically to the current date. Modify any information if necessary and tap Save Nameplate to create a new measurement file.
- The Test page will open. On the Test page two FRAX files will be displayed:
- the new file with empty sweeps (first)
- the template file with existing measurement data (second)
Performing demagnetisation is optional.
If demagnetistion sweep exists in the template file, it will appear automatically in the new file. If not, it can be added using the Add Demag option as described earlier. Select the Demagnetisation sweep and start the measurement using Play button.
- Select an SFRA sweep in the new file and start the measurement by tapping Play. Repeat the procedure until all sweeps are completed.
- Select Analyzer page from main menu. There results and the Conclusion are calculated automatically. The available analysers are:
- DL/T 911-2004
- Correlation
- NCEPRI
- Finally, select Report page from main menu, select the report format, upload a logo if needed, and tap Export PDF to generate the report.
