About this app
The official validator of Meia Entrada is an application that reads the QR Code of the student card and verifies that the layout and the respective digital certificate are valid. It is one of the main projects that helps to support the Half Entrance Law, enabling real-time consultation of the student's condition of the holder of the document.
This application was created exclusively to verify the authenticity of the student ID and prevent:
The purchase of half-price tickets with false or irregular student documents, helping cinemas, event producers, theaters, concert halls and other establishments in strict compliance with Law 12.933 of Half Entrance;
That students buy false documents that do not comply with the law and the national standard.
The student card validation process verifies that the requirements and issues related to the digital certificate are in accordance with the premises defined by ITI (National Institute of Information Technology).
How to check the validity of your student ID:
Download the Meia Entrada app from Google Play or Apple's App Store
Open the Meia Entrada application and click on the “VALIDATE DOCUMENT" button
Wait for the validation result (Valid / Invalid)

ITI (Institute of Information Technology) issued Ordinance no. 78, which regulates the digital certification of the Student ID. By the ordinance, it is established that the validation of the student ID is done digitally, through an electronic application, capable of reading the QR-Code present in the student ID, where the validity and authenticity of the same will be attested.
