ABOUT THE APP

An easy and convenient way to manage your lawn and garden watering. Use the free app on your Android smart device (minimum required Android V7.0), to control all the programming on your Melnor Bluetooth Water Timer. Manage one, or multiple Valve Units from the same app. Set up is simple and offers the most flexible scheduling options to meet any gardener’s needs. Water on specific days of the week or every few days, up to 30 times per day, from one minute to 6 hours.

Ratings and reviews

I'm surprised at the disparaging reviews, compared to a competitor product, this worked flawlessly for me, didn't require email signup, didn't require extra steps to ID the device, it connected before I realized without input from me. I went through the programming of a schedule without needing to refer to directions, it was that intuitive. I edited such afterward as well. If offers more flexibility in that you can schedule by day or by frequency.

Simple to set-up & works great. I bought the 2-hose timer & this is easy to navigate and set up both timers on separate schedules. The app is minimalist in design and may take a bit of getting used to BECAUSE of its basic mainframe, but I love it. This app doesn't ask for any personal information or weird permissions outside of allowing access to Bluetooth. It doesn't need/ask for your location, phone access, etc. Just needs the Bluetooth :-) I'm REALLY glad I got this whole system.

The 2 port model doesn't work correcly. Both ports run at the same time, no matter how I program it. Unable to program for the same day, so very hard to test. Unable to change to daylight savings Time, even though it's use will be during daylight savings time. Pretty obvious there was no testing of the two Port model at least with the weekly programming. I'm a software programmer/technician, one of the worst programs I've ever seen. Shame on you programmers.
