About this app

Hasmada helps you keep track of what you're learning and how much time you spend on it. Log a session in under 15 seconds, see your progress over time, and actually finish the seforim you start.

What it does:

- Log learning sessions by subject (Gemara, Halacha, Mishna, Rambam, Mussar, and more) with how long you learned
- Track where you are in a sefer -- amud by amud, daf by daf, perek by perek
- Daily streak counter that knows about Shabbos and Yom Tov (your streak won't break)
- Set a daily learning goal and get a reminder so you don't forget
- See stats: weekly totals, monthly breakdowns, per-sefer progress, heatmaps
- Earn milestones when you hit learning goals -- first session, 7-day streak, first siyum, and more
- Make a siyum when you finish a sefer
- Share learning tracks with your chaburah or community

Pick from seforim across categories -- Shas, Mishna, Halacha, Mussar, Chassidus, Tanach, and others. Or add your own custom sefer with whatever structure you want.

Built for frum Jews:

The app uses proper Torah terminology. It follows the Jewish calendar for streak protection. Daf Yomi, Chitas, and other learning cycles are built in. Set your nusach. Toggle Eretz Yisroel zmanim.
