About this game

Mendel's Quest is the only running-jumping-punching game that has distinct Jewish motifs. Set in 19th century Russia, you play as Mendel: an Orthodox Jew with a time machine and a mission to restore as many 'holy books' as possible. Help little Mendel complete his mission. Help him.

I started with the original game which I thought was a joke when I first saw it. I'm very happy with the updated new version. I think it's a real riot. I had nearly played all the levels in the original so being able to start again at the beginning is great. Keep it going, guys! Players should remember each level is a learning experience. Keep repeating levels until you master the new skills you've learned. Remember the new paths to victory you've learned.

Fun game, I like it. Unfortunately i can't pass level 14 due to a bug. There is one place where you have to slide under a floating mountain. The game will always count it has a hit, even when you time the sliding right. Then the controls stop working which makes the tall enemy that comes after that part kill you.

I loved the concept of the game. But it does not work. I uninstall and reinstall.. I can't jump.. So I die in 10 seconds.. But the Rabbi advice makes me smile.. So I give it 3 stars instead of 2... july 2021.. I still can't jump..but this game is very funny..ohh e vay..
