MenuSafe was created by a founder who developed food allergies later in life and experienced firsthand how stressful dining out can become. The goal was simple: create a tool that helps people spend less time worrying about ingredients and more time enjoying meals with family and friends.

HOW IT WORKS
Snap a picture or upload one from your phone. No restaurant partnership or pre-loaded data required. MenuSafe reads every dish on the page, cross-references it against your allergy profile, and returns a clear result in seconds:
• Safe: no detected allergens for anyone selected
• Modify: contains an allergen, with a specific suggested modification
• Avoid: contains an allergen with no reasonable substitution
• Unverified: not enough information to be confident; ask your server

Every result shows exactly which ingredient triggered the flag, and whether it came directly from the menu's own description or was inferred from how the dish is typically prepared, so you always know the confidence level.
