Thirty-six faces. Three colors. One tap changes five.
Quintap is a color logic puzzle with a single rule and a very long ladder. Tap a cell and five faces step one place along the color cycle — the one you touched and its four neighbors, a plus. Under the board sits a goal shape. Make it appear, and the level is graded.
EXACTLY, AND THAT WORD IS THE GAME The cells of the shape must all be one color, and every cell touching it must be a different one. A shape buried inside a bigger blob of its own color is not the shape. So getting four cells to agree is only half the job — the other half is getting the six around them to disagree.
PAR IS THE SCORE Every level knows the fewest taps that could finish it, computed exactly rather than estimated, and your grade is how close you came. S is par or better; then A, B, C, D. There is no route to a better grade but a shorter solution, and the shortest one is a fact about the board rather than a matter of luck. Nothing to farm, no timer to race.
1000 LEVELS, MEASURED BEFORE THEY SHIPPED Every level was generated, solved and sorted by a computed difficulty index, so the climb you feel is the climb that was measured. Boards of 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 interleave the whole way up — and the hardest levels are the small ones, where the plus is clipped at every edge. Past level 1000 fresh boards keep coming from the top of the ladder.
A LESSON, NOT A TUTORIAL WALL The ladder opens with one-tap levels, and a ring shows you the tap on the first five. By level six the ring lets go and there are twenty more one-tappers to solve on your own. Everything else you learn on a real board.
QUIET BY DESIGN
No timer, no lives, no energy meter.
No undo. A tap changes five cells and spends one of a short clock, so every move is a decision.
Three colors far enough apart to have a silhouette, on a dark tray that keeps them legible in both the light and the dark theme.
Press and hold to see the plus dip under your finger before you commit. Release somewhere else and nothing happened.
Sound, vibration, reduced motion and theme are all yours to turn off.
PLAYS OFFLINE, COSTS NOTHING
No in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Nothing in the game is sold.
No account needed. The whole campaign works signed out, on a plane, in a tunnel.
Sign in with Google or Apple only if you want it: your campaign is backed up so it survives the phone, and you take a place on the world leaderboard — the top 100 by levels perfected.
Ads pay for it. A banner sits on the cards you open on purpose and never on a board you are solving. A rewarded video plays only when you choose one: to see half of the shortest solution, or to skip a level that did not go your way. Declining costs nothing — Try Again is always free.
Every board has an answer. Find the short one.
One tap moves five colors. Build the exact shape in as few taps as par.
