MIND THE GAP is a retro pixel-art trading game about hustling your way up in London, one dodgy deal at a time. Inspired by the classic buy-low-sell-high trading games — rebuilt for the city where a meal deal counts as a financial plan.

You're Gaz: 26 years old, skint, and eight grand in the hole to a lender whose slogan is "We lend fast. We collect faster." You've got 35 days to trade your way from a Croydon sofa to the top of the London ladder.

HOW IT WORKS
- 5 moves a day, 35 days on the clock, one very impatient loan shark at 48% APR.
- Buy cheap in Croydon, flog it dear in Mayfair. Every station has its own market.
- Prices swing with the daily news — read the paper, spot the move, get there first.
- Perishables rot, bargains lie, and anything marked DODGY comes with consequences.

BUILD YOUR FIRM
- Hire from a pool of 26 crew members, from Accountant Alan to Big Mick the Porter.
- Crew earn their keep with passive perks — more bag space, better prices, less heat.
- Move up the housing ladder from Croydon to Canary Wharf. Pay rent every Sunday or it's back to your mum's.

MIND YOUR HEAT
- Flog dodgy gear and the heat rises. Max it out and you're doing time in Belmarsh.
