InkQuill is a calming, beautiful way to learn calligraphy and hand-lettering — one stroke at a time. Explore a gallery of letters across five classic script families — Modern, Brush, Gothic, Italic, and Roman — each rendered as a living, animated ink stroke you can watch being drawn.

Tap any letter to open a focused lesson. Watch the stroke order play out in order, with a gold nib riding the tip of each pen stroke. Replay it as many times as you like, slow it down or speed it up, and read short, practical guidance on pen angle, pressure, and rhythm. Difficulty is shown with nib pips so you always know what you are getting into.

When you are ready, switch to the trace canvas. A faint ghost letter guides your hand — drag your finger along it and InkQuill scores your coverage in real time, so you can feel your accuracy improve. Log every session with the tool you used, the minutes you spent, a flourish rating, and a personal note.

Your Progress screen keeps you motivated with a day streak, total practice minutes, sessions completed, letters mastered, a daily goal, and a weekly bar chart. Left-handed writers can mirror the stroke guides, and a full light and dark theme keeps things comfortable at any hour.
