One of my top three apps! A great collegiate level dictionary that works in an offline environment. Gets even better online with voice input and pronunciation. Unfamiliar words that you want to review later can be saved to a favorites list. Full thesaurus included. I rarely pay for apps. I am happy to have paid for this app, and I use it at least a half dozen times every single day!
Photon Needed something for when I cannot get to the book. This is it. Nothing wrong yet. Hope it stays this way cause I did pay for it.
No audio I paid for this version for the audio pronunciation and it doesn't work. If it did work, I'd give it a higher rating
Love it The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because I wish there were thesaurus entries for more words. Overall, this is very useful and has far more words and phrases than other dictionary applications that I found. I think I paid like $5.00 or something for it and I use it at least on a weekly basis. Worth every penny.
A great app I and (I think) most people have a large SD card. I wish I could download the pronunciations so I could hear them offline. I would also very much like to be able to just browse the dictionary divided up by the first two letter of the word.
Beautiful Update Probably the best common usage English dictionary on the Android market. If you're looking for a more historical/complete dictionary then try the Oxford Shorter. For most uses, Merriam Webster is a better go-to. I'd love to see the additional of IPA transcriptions for pronunciations rather than the current versions, however.
