Meshwarak is a calm co-pilot for Egyptian roads: a dashboard speedometer that warns you out loud before radars, reminds you of the speed limit, and tells you when the road ahead has no network. All of it works offline.
What Meshwarak does
• Warns you a kilometre before a radar, and again as you get close, in a clear Egyptian voice.
• Knows the limit at every radar and radar zone, and tells you when you go over it.
• A big speedometer you can read at a glance, on the same scale as your car's.
• Warns you before stretches with no mobile network, like the Red Sea road.
• Keeps speaking when you switch to your maps app or anything else.
• Only warns about radars facing your direction of travel.
Where it works
450+ radar locations across Egypt: Greater Cairo, Alexandria and the Corniche, the Delta, the North Coast and the Red Sea road. On roads we have not mapped, it stays silent instead of inventing alerts. Found a radar we are missing? Report it from inside the app.
Your privacy
• Your account is just your name and phone number, and you can delete it from Settings at any time.
• Alerts are computed on your phone. Your route uploads when you are online, minus the first and last half kilometre, so we can correct radar data.
• No ads, and we never sell your data.
Before you drive
Meshwarak is no substitute for your attention or road signs. Mount your phone before you set off and rely on the voice. Real safety is staying under the limit.
