Metal & Gold Detector with Sound and Vibration is an application that detects the presence of metallic objects nearby by

measuring the magnetic field value. This useful utility tool uses the magnetic sensor built-in your smartphone and tablet

to show the magnetic field level in μT (microtesla).

EMF in nature is about 49μT(micro tesla) or 490mG(milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG. The sensor works in a way that in case some

metal is near, the value of the magnetic field in the app will increase which will confirm the presence of some metallic

object.

The usability of app will help you identify any metal object in the area, behind walls, underground and other places. As

all metals generate a magnetic field and the strength of which can be measured with this tool.

Usage is quite simple. Just launch this application and move it around. In case of some presence of metal, you will see

the magnetic field level shown on the screen to get constantly fluctuating. Colorful line bars represent the intensity and

the number on top shows the value of the magnetic field level (EMF).

Reaching a certain limit the device will vibrate and makes sounds announcing that metal is close. You can calibrate and

from settings change the sensitivity of vibration and sound effects.

NOTE: The accuracy of readings by the tool depends entirely on the sensor in your mobile device and also note that due to

electromagnetic waves, the magnetic sensor may affect nearby electronic equipment.

This app works! I did not know that it was possible to search for metals with a phone, but we tested it and it works! There is a premium version of the app, but the free version works just fine. You can adjust the sensibility of the detector and it adjusts accordingly. I also like that it makes noise when you detect a metal, very useful. One thing, however, is that it takes a little while for the metal to register on the detector, but it's near to nothing. You can't ask for much more from an app

It doesn't detect gold or stainless steel, but does detect carbon steel at almost zero distance. It's much better detecting credit cards, the meter goes of the scale. I'm going to uninstall it.

Hi,this does not detect any thing even magnet and magnetic field.other apps like this doesnt detect gold but they detect magnet or manetic field.
