About this app

iExit tells you what's at upcoming exits when you're on the highway. It uses your device's location to determine where you are on the highway, and then displays upcoming exits in real time.

iExit Search is powerful and dead simple. Search the next 100 exits for businesses (like Starbucks, Cracker Barrel, or KOA Campgrounds), amenities (like WiFi, Playground, or Truck Parking), rest stops, hotel deals, and much much more.

Your GPS will tell you how to get there. iExit will tell you where to stop along the way.

Don't believe iExit will change the way you travel? Ask The New York Times, USA Today, Consumer Reports, CNET, MacWorld, The Today Show, ABC News, and many more. Here's what CNN had to say about iExit:

"Do you have enough gas to wait until the next town? Is there a bathroom coming up any time soon? Need to buy a tent at Wal-Mart? The iExit app will tell you exactly what lies ahead."

Don't take another road trip without iExit!

The app is great. It shows you all the important business at each highway exit, such as gas stations, restaurants, hotels, etc. But it's missing a few highways in Orange County, CA. CA HWYS 22, 55, 57, an 91 are missing. So, I imagine there are lots of other highways across CA and other states that are missing as well.

This app was very helpful on a recent trip from Missouri to Florida and back. It helped us locate good places to stop along the way for gas and food. It is a little quirky in occasionally telling us we're not on the highway, but that might be loss of signal. There are a few things listed that shouldn't be, but we try to send a report for those, and hopefully it gets updated. All in all, very useful. I won't travel without it anymore.

I really like this app but there is a very big issue. The app is not accurate regarding the type of gas stations at the exit. I only use Chevron/Texaco fuel and have found 7 stations that are no longer either brand but are still listed as such. All have switched brands at least 3 years ago or longer, so that's not the problem. It would be great to have the option to correct these so the app is actually accurate.

What's new

Version 5.02:
Knocking out a few more minor bug fixes.

Version 5.0:
The first of many updates coming to iExit over the next few months. This update includes support for the newest Android OS versions.

We have also decided to make gas prices free for all Android users, just as we've done for our iOS users. From now on, you will not need to pay to see gas prices for stations near interstate exits.
