Introducing MezziCoin — A Location-Based Digital Network

Discover, explore and collect digital collectibles connected to real-world places.

MezziCoin is a new concept in the form of a GeoCoin, a digital collectible linked to a real-world geographic location.

Each MezziCoin corresponds to a unique nine-square-metre area of land, connecting digital collectibles with physical places around the world.

MezziCoins are free to collect and are not a currency. They cannot be used as money or as a payment method. They are location-linked digital collectibles that you can discover and collect using the MezziCoin mobile app.

Collect MezziCoins with Treasure Hunts

MezziCoin gives you several ways to discover collections and explore the network.

Online treasure hunts

Play simple word games within the app and compete with other players. Winners receive MezziCoin collections.

Real-world treasure hunts

Explore your surroundings and discover collections associated with real-world locations.

Grant the necessary location permissions and, when you reach a designated treasure location, the app can check whether you are at the qualifying location. If you are, you are allocated the collection associated with that area.

Treasure locations are selected to make discovery accessible and enjoyable, with collections associated with real-world places where members can explore.

Create New MezziCoins Through Location Activity

MezziCoin allows you to contribute to the growth of its geographic network through location activity. Enable location reporting and the app can record qualifying location activity in the background as you go about your day. When you create 125 new MezziCoins through qualifying location activity, you are allocated a collection elsewhere in the country where you have been participating. The collection you receive is separate from the individual coins you helped create.

A dedicated screen in the app makes location reporting easy to set up and manage.

Collect Additional MezziCoin Collections

Every registered user receives a unique invite code. When people join using your invite code and participate in the MezziCoin network, this can lead to you receiving additional collections. These collections can appear anywhere in the world, giving you another way to grow your collection while helping the community expand.

A Network Connected to Real-World Places

The MezziCoin network is mapped onto the physical world. Each coin is associated with a specific nine-square-metre geographic area, creating a digital network connected to real places rather than an abstract digital environment. As more people participate, explore and report locations, the geographic network can continue to expand.
