Chessborn is a unique strategy game combining traditional chess tactics with thrilling roguelike survival. Unlike typical chance-based games, everything depends on your tactical intellect and strategic planning. On this board, not only the enemies, but the tiles you step on are against you!
GAME MECHANICS & FEATURES:
Crumbling Board Mechanic (Don't Fall!): The play area gradually crumbles from the edges each turn. Move toward the center to save your pieces from falling into the abyss and hold your position.
Tactical Gambit Cards (Passive Buffs): Fill your 5 active Gambit slots with the right passive buffs. Personalize your playstyle with crystals that increase attack power, provide defense, or grant edge advantages as the board crumbles.
Upgrades & Shop System: Spend the Chips you earn by defeating enemy units in the shop. Upgrade your chess pieces, boost their capabilities, and make your army invincible.
Smart Enemy AI & Boss Battles: You are not facing a simple opponent. Track enemy attack paths in warning red neon using the "Threat Display", foresee their movements, and lure them into their own traps.
Premium Neon & Cyberpunk Aesthetics: Staggering neon lights, retro-futuristic visuals, and an atmospheric backdrop. Unlock special purple and orange skin themes in the store using Void Crystals.
