Before launching the app, make sure you have a personal online banking profile at https://www.southernbank.com/personal/mobile. This will sync all your data and keep your accounts up to date.

App never works. Every few days I try to open the app and it's just a white screen...loading...it never loads. I try turning my phone off, eventually you have to uninstall the app and reinstall it. It is a huge hassle. Very frustrating. Edit: after re installing it still won't work. Why even have an app? About to call the bank to see what's in my account.

It now won't let me sign in with my fingerprint. It frequently says I need to try again later to sign in. I thought the app was for 24 hr. access to my account, if I have to wait for banking hours, what's the point of the app? Update 1/4/24- this continues to be a user unfriendly app. Update 3/5/24 remains a disappointing app. I can't use fingerprint sign in on my android tablet, a device I use due to vision issues. First Bank, a small bank compared to Southern Bank, works on all my devices!

It seems EVERY few days I have to resign in. Also, a lot of times, if I want to transfer money, I have to reenter my password. It gets OLD after a while.
