Corkly transforms your device into a warm, tactile community bulletin board where you pin colorful index cards to manage volunteer shifts. The full-screen corkboard texture, complete with scattered pinholes and a faint coffee ring, makes organizing helpers feel refreshingly tangible. On the Board tab, two bold cards track your total volunteers and today’s shifts with hand-drawn chinagraph numbers, while a loop of red string visually ties the pins together. A quick-scroll row shows the three most recent signups, and an oversized glowing pushpin floats nearby to let you add a new signup instantly. Tapping that pushpin opens an index card form with pencil-stroke fields for the volunteer’s name, a task type selected from a soft dropdown, a time slot, and optional contact details. Each task type is instantly recognizable by its pushpin color: blue for Setup, red for Cleanup, green for Registration, and yellow for Food. The List tab arranges every signup as a distinct pinned card, displaying the name, task, and shift time; you can long-press to edit or swipe left to reveal a delete option. When a task is finished, you simply fold the card’s corner and a handwritten green “Done” scribble appears, giving you a satisfying way to mark progress without checkmarks. The Search tab offers a sticky-note-style input where typing a name or task instantly filters the board, shrinking non-matching cards into faint outlines so you can focus on what you need. All your signups are stored locally on your device, so you have complete privacy and full control—no accounts, no cloud sync, and no internet connection required after install. You can create, view, update, and delete any signup freely, and every change is saved immediately to your personal board. The bottom navigation is a row of four colored thumbtacks pressed into a cork strip, and the active one tilts slightly with a warm inner glow to guide your fingers naturally. Whether you are a volunteer coordinator at a nonprofit, an event planner for a small gathering, or simply organizing a helper roster, Corkly keeps every name and task pinned neatly and accessibly. There are no spreadsheets, no paper signup sheets to misplace, just a durable corkboard that fits in your pocket and reflects the charming, handwritten spirit of real community coordination.
