You can't listen to your downloaded/imported audiobooks without an active Internet connection, presumably so the app can inject ad interruptions while listening. I understand you may feel the need to monetize a free app (even though you offer a paid alternative to upgrade to), but this is not the way to do it. There are other small issues like navigation and imports that I assume will improve, but not being able to listen to your own files while offline is a non-starter.

Internet connection at first start-up only is necessary to check regularly download from play store, nothing else. After that you can play offline audio files. Gerald from Timmy

It looks great, but in my opinion Media control buttons should forward, backward 1 minute not the whole track or it should be configurable. Recently there is too easy to lost in the audiobook accidently by pressing Media control button (ex. on driving wheel) Edit: So I change my mind, I bought premium. I think that it is good idea to make more clear what is different between free and premium.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. That's a pro version feature. We'll think about to implement it in the free version also. Thanks, Gerald from Timmy

The first thing the app should do when opened for the first time is prompt the user for the audiobook directory (see: Voice app). What Timmy does is immediately start scanning all devices for any media, and then finds and starts indexing my music folder (with a ton of "not found" errors). At that point there's no way to stop the indexing other than force stopping the app. Even after I did manage to set the audiobooks library and press rescan, Timmy didn't scan it or found nothing. It looks promising, but it's just not working (Android 9).
