Surah Al-Mulk, which is the 67th surah in the Quran, consists of 30 verses. Because its first verse begins with "Tebarekellezi...", it is also known as Surah At-Mulk.
The word "mulk" in the first verse of the surah means "ownership, sovereignty," and the surah takes its name from this. It is also known as Tabarakah or Tabarakah Mulk because of the phrase "Tabarakah alladhi" at the beginning of its first verse.
The surah begins by mentioning the greatness and supreme power of Allah, and explains the wisdom of death and life. It draws attention to the proofs of God's power manifested in the universe, informing us that He will resurrect people, and therefore believers will be rewarded and disbelievers will be punished.
