Play the music and audiobooks you already own.
Mia Audio plays the files on your phone. There is no subscription, no account, no advertising, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. It works on a plane, on the Underground, and anywhere else with no signal — because it never needed one.
**Made for audiobooks, not just adapted for them**
Books and music behave differently, so Mia treats them differently. An audiobook remembers exactly where you stopped, down to the second, and picks it up when you come back — even if the app was closed in between. Your place is saved constantly, so nothing is lost if your phone runs out of battery mid-chapter.
Books are kept in their own list, showing how far through you are and how long is left, rather than being buried among your albums.
**Playback speed that sounds right**
From 0.75× up to 3×, with pitch correction, so nothing changes key. Slow a track down to learn or practise to it, or get through a book faster. Mia chooses a different time-stretching method for speech and for music, so neither ends up sounding like the other.
**Jump back when you missed something**
Skip buttons either side of play, set to whatever interval suits you between 5 and 90 seconds. Lose concentration for a moment and one tap puts it back.
**Playlists**
Group tracks however you like — by dance, by mood, by occasion. Drag to reorder. Play everything in your library, or just the list you are working through.
**Controls where you need them**
Lock screen, notification shade, headphones and car. Playback carries on with the screen off and the app closed, as it should.
**Your files, your way**
Plays MP3, M4A, M4B, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV and AIFF, plus Ogg Vorbis and Opus on Android. Reads cover art from your files. Hide anything you would rather not see in your library, without deleting it.
On Android, Mia finds the audio already on your phone. On iPhone, drag files across from a Mac in Finder, or copy them in from the Files app — including from Dropbox, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or OneDrive.
