BoxStream Cloud Music is a cloud audio player

Access your music and podcasts right from your Dropbox and organize it the way you like it.
Your Dropbox account is a great way to store your music, podcasts or audiobooks and have it accessible everywhere you go and synced across all your devices.
BoxStream keeps it simple and yet provides all the necessary features. You know the best how you want to organize your music, and folders are probably the best way to do it.

You can add files to a "Favorites" list for easy access anytime, and play you favorite tracks.
Storing your music on Dropbox provides access to it everywhere. Streaming music from Dropbox cloud storage is secure and easy with the BoxStream Cloud Music app.
We use the continuous playback feature of Android's media player to switch between tracks as seamlessly as possible. BoxStream also supports Bluetooth and headset media controls to play/pause and skip between tracks.
It also supports displaying track metadata on connected Bluetooth devices, such as smartwatches and the car stereo.
BoxStream works well with Chromecast, so you can stream your music and control playback on your TV or any device with HDMI input remotely.

While some of the similar apps perform an initial time-consuming synchronization to fetch metadata for all the tracks, BoxStream focuses on being highly responsive by simply presenting the user's folder structure.

BoxStream looks better on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and above, so consider upgrading if you don't already have it.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do. The problem I have with it is the colours - dark blue text against a black background - which are impossible to read in bright light conditions. Is it possible to change the colours to something more user friendly? Also, it would be lovely if, when it got to the end of a folder, the player would start playing the next one. Otherwise perfect!

Life changing! I've always burned my personal development audio and uploaded it to drop box for backup, but tbh found it really hard work when it comes to listening back to it... However this free simple app that has transformed my life 🤣 the two biggest pluses for me are it - ✅Let's you stream whole albums continuously (rather than individual tracks) ✅You can have it running in the background whilst doing other tasks. Love it!
