The UI is pretty good and not frustrating, but does need some tweaks to make it render the whole puzzle when regexes become large. The main issue however is that it just needs way more puzzles/levels. It has 10 puzzles built in, and apparently has user submitted puzzles as well, however some of those user submitted ones are the ones that don't render too well, and there are only a small handful (5? I can't recall exactly) of those. Folks who know regex well will finish with this app in 5mins.

Cool idea, but the options for letters are given to you in the same order they show up in the puzzle. It basically ruins it. There's also not nearly enough puzzles.

So much fun and quite edifying. Having a blast working my way through these puzzles. Kudos. Please note that your have to use two fingers to scroll the letters at the bottom.
