Dual AI Chat is an Android app that lets you chat with powerful Large Language Models through an Ollama‑compatible API server. Whether you run models locally using “LLM tester with llama.cpp” or connect to an external Ollama server, the app provides a smooth, flexible, and highly customizable AI chat experience.

Key Features
- Connect to Ollama‑compatible API servers
Use a local API server from LLM tester with llama.cpp or any remote Ollama server. Simply enter the server URL, fetch available models, and start chatting.

- Fast and intuitive chat interface
Type messages, send them instantly, and view responses in a clean, scrollable chat history. Real‑time streaming mode lets you watch the model generate text as it thinks.

- Voice input and TTS support
Long‑press the microphone button to dictate messages using speech recognition. Enable text‑to‑speech to have responses read aloud.

- Customizable characters
Create up to two characters, each with:
• Name
• System prompt (behavior definition)
• Avatar image
This allows you to build unique AI personalities for different tasks or moods.

- Flexible model selection
Fetch the list of available models from your server and switch between them anytime. Perfect for testing different LLMs or optimizing performance on your device.

- Optional Web Search Integration
Configure a search API to let the AI reference live web results. Search results are added to the model’s context, enabling more accurate and up‑to‑date answers.

Setup Guide
1. Launch LLM tester with llama.cpp, load a model, and start the API server.
2. Open Dual AI Chat and go to Settings.
3. Enter your server URL (e.g., http://localhost:11434).
4. Tap Fetch Models and choose the model you want to use.
5. Save your settings and return to the main screen to start chatting.
Now it is possible to launch LLM API from Settings directly.

- Server Settings — Configure API server URL and port.
- Model Selection — Choose the LLM model to use.
- Streaming Mode — Toggle real‑time response streaming.
- TTS Settings — Enable or disable text‑to‑speech.
- Character Settings — Customize system prompts and avatars.
- History Management — Save or delete chat logs.

Troubleshooting
- Connection errors
Ensure the API server from LLM tester with llama.cpp is running.
- Slow responses
Model size and device performance affect speed. Try a smaller model.

Make sure microphone permissions are granted.
