About this app

My Virtual School brings school information to those who need it every day: the teachers who record it and the families who want to stay informed.

Log in with the credentials your school gave you and you'll see what's available to you based on your role. Nothing more, nothing less.

IF YOU ARE A TEACHER

• Record your class attendance in seconds, student by student.

• Keep track of group discipline notes and view each student's complete record, period by period.

• Record uniform compliance without paperwork.

• View the units and achievements for your subjects.

IF YOU ARE A PARENT/GUARDIAN

• View your child's grades whenever you want, without waiting for report cards.

• Check their attendance, tardiness, and absences.

• Find out about discipline notes the same day, not at the end of the period.

IF YOU ARE A STUDENT

• Check your grades and attendance at any time.

• Check your grades and the status of your uniform.

ALERTS WHEN THERE'S SOMETHING NEW

• Get notified the same day: published grades, a recorded absence, or a disciplinary note.

• The alert only tells you that there's something new. To see it, you log in with your username, so no one who takes your phone can read your notes from the lock screen.

• You choose which alerts you want to receive, and you can turn them all off.

YOUR SCHOOL, YOUR DATA

My Virtual School connects only to your institution's server. Grades, attendance, and notes never leave there: there's no advertising, and your data is neither sold nor shared with third parties.

To track which screens are used and detect errors, the app uses Google Analytics. It doesn't send your name or grades, and you can turn it off at any time from the menu.

Alerts are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging from Google. They display the student's first name and what's new, never the grade or the text of an entry, and you can turn them off from the menu.

The app doesn't request access to your camera, contacts, files, or location.

On shared devices, you can uncheck the "remember session" box, and then nothing will be saved on the device.

GETTING STARTED

You need your school to use Mi Cole Virtual and have given you your username and password. If you don't have them, request them from your school's office.
