About this app

WaveShot is a hands-free camera app that takes the photo when you wave. Set your phone down, raise your hand above your head, wave — and the camera counts down and shoots by itself, from up to 10m (33 ft) away.

No strangers. No sprinting back into frame. No gallery full of near-identical attempts. Just wave, pose, and smile.

Now featuring Slim Photo, Pro Shot Count, Retro Camera, Color Tint and Photo Stamp for even more creative, effortless photography. New users get a free 1-week trial.

HOW IT WORKS

Open WaveShot, frame your shot, and walk into position. Raise your hand overhead and wave side to side. Once the gesture is recognized, an automatic countdown starts, giving you time to pose naturally before the photo is captured — completely hands-free. Every shot saves straight to your gallery.

HANDS-FREE WAVE CAMERA

WaveShot recognizes your hand wave and triggers the camera automatically, so you can take solo photos, selfies, family portraits, couple photos, travel memories and group pictures without touching your phone.

The gesture works at real distance — up to 10m (33 ft) — so your phone can sit on a wall, a rock or a table across the room and still fire. And it recognizes several people at once, so in a group photo anyone in the frame can wave to trigger the shutter. No designated photographer, no one left out of the picture.

PRO SHOT COUNT

Never miss the perfect moment. Choose how many photos a single wave captures:
• 1
• 3
• 5
• 10
• 25

Ideal for portraits, action shots and group photos where you want a range of expressions to choose from, without walking back to trigger the camera again.
