About this app

Here is a simple application that shows you the current atmospheric pressure. This accurate measuring tool (portrait orientation, Android 6 or newer) works on the tablets, phones and smartphones that are connected to the Internet (even if they do not have a built-in pressure sensor). You can use Barometer to track the changes in local pressure (as they indicate the weather trend) and to see some other important meteorological parameters.

Features:

-- two of the most used units of measurement can be selected (hPa-mbar and mmHg)
-- free application - no ads, no limitations
-- only one permission is required (Location)
-- this app keeps the phone's screen ON
-- altitude information and location data
-- additional weather info are available (temperature, cloudiness, visibility etc.)
-- pressure calibration

Love the simplicity of this free, no ads app. I use it every morning to check what the day is going to be like. One small issue is that my Samsung phone (running Android v 16) keeps telling my the app is crashing, whether I close it 'manually' or use the 'Exit Now' button. Can this be fixed??

cool app but lots of Google Play errors. I'll probably uninstall. I don't like having to launch twice to run the app. if it wasn't for this error I'd give you 5 stars.

We're sorry you're having trouble downloading our free app. This specific error is usually caused by Google Play Store issues - like a weak connection or cache errors - rather than our app itself. Since this is outside of our control, would you consider updating your rating? We'd really appreciate the support! Thank you, Microsys Team.

App will read the barometer built into your phone if you go to settings and select internal sensor. Ok on that. Pulls other weather data on 2nd screen from a service, but does not share what is the source of that data. Gps location teardrop icon upon touching it will display a message that it's locating but no further location info appears on main screen. + and Pro buttons will take you to Google Play. This app could get another star if it was clearer what the GPS location teardrop icon does.

Thanks for your feedback. The GPS button is useful only when your location changes significantly, to update the position used by the app and so the pressure and other data. We'll pass along your suggestions to our development team and we will add a clearer explanation to the About page, thanks again.
