MicSelf is a private vocal monitor for people practicing singing and speaking. Plug in headphones, start monitoring, and hear your voice in real time while you work on tone, pitch, clarity, volume, pronunciation, and delivery.
MicSelf is designed for simple, focused practice:
Monitor your microphone with adjustable mic volume and mute.
Import one local backing track and balance music with your voice.
Add light reverb for a more natural singing feel.
Use the optional live pitch line as a visual practice guide.
Record vocal-only or mixed practice takes locally.
Replay, rename, delete, or export completed recordings.
View your current audio route and useful low-latency diagnostics.
For the best experience, use wired headphones, wired earbuds, or USB audio. Bluetooth devices are supported, but may add noticeable delay. Phone-speaker monitoring can cause echo or feedback.
Your audio stays on your device. MicSelf does not use cloud audio processing, accounts, or online storage. Imported tracks, recordings, settings, and diagnostics remain local unless you explicitly export a recording.
MicSelf is free to use. Ads are never shown while you are monitoring, playing music, or recording.
