President of the CCM nautical and sporting association, Sergio Davì is a professional skipper and rubber boat expert in oceanic adventure sailing with a rather special career, as commander and creator of all expeditions.
 
 His debut in rafting trips took place in 2010, when he carried out his first mission "From flowers of Sicily to flowers of Holland - Palermo-Amsterdam - crossing by raft": a real 41-day winter adventure, made with a 10m rubber boat, powered by two 300HP petrol outboards each and narrated by Davì himself in his book "Palermo-Amsterdam 3000 miles on a rubber boat".
 
 About a year and a half later, in the summer of 2012, Davì goes further and completes the "Nordkapp RIB Mission": starting from Palermo on 17 June 2012, it reaches the North Cape with an "open" raft of just 8 meters bimotorized with 150HP petrol outboard. Over 4000 nautical miles in about 52 days.
 
 The success of the North Cape leads him to want to realize the dream of all navigators: to cross the Ocean! So in 2015 he tried the crossing from Palermo to Rio de Janeiro with a 9-meter bimotorized dinghy with diesel sterndrive. But the "Atlantic RIB Crossing - from Palermo to Rio de Janeiro by boat" stops in Lanzarote for an unfortunate event, a fire in the engine compartment.
 
 Davì does not give up and tries again, and on 29 April 2017 he leaves the moorings from Palermo to Recife (Brazil) to try to realize his Atlantic dream, crowning it successfully on 17 June 2017, after having covered 4300 nautical miles for a total of 49 days, between navigation and scheduled stops, 300 hours of navigation (of which almost half with the engines always on). With the "Ocean RIB Experience - transoceanic on a rubber dinghy from Palermo to Recife", Davì has written a new page in the history of boating: he crossed the ocean aboard a rubber boat a little less than 10m long, powered by a pair of petrol outboards from 200HP.
