Shotbook is a brew journal for home baristas who take their coffee seriously.
No more notebooks or spreadsheets — a focused, distraction-free app that captures exactly what matters when dialing in, and nothing that doesn't.
ESPRESSO & FILTER IN ONE FLOW
Espresso: dose, yield, extraction time, machine, grinder, and grind setting.
Filter: coffee, water, brew time and method — V60, Chemex, AeroPress, Kalita, French Press, Moka Pot, Cold Brew.
INSTANT RATIO ANALYSIS
Shotbook calculates your ratio automatically and shows you whether you're in the Ristretto, Ideal, or Lungo zone — no calculator needed.
COFFEES AS PRODUCTS
Roaster, coffee name, and roast date make up a unique coffee product. Change origin, process, or roast level — Shotbook updates all brews from the same bag at once.
RATING & TASTING NOTES
• Rate each brew 1–10 with a visual bar display
• Aroma tags: chocolate, citrus, berry, and more
• Log issues: channelling, under-extraction, etc.
• Add photos of the puck, cup, or crema
