About this app

I wanted to create a clock that would help us prioritize our time and live our life to the fullest, knowing that our time is limited.

In the US, it is estimated humans live on average - 80 years.

MyLifeClock will count down your time to your 80th birthday.

The idea behind MyLifeClock came from the movie, “In Time” 2011.

There are many benefits to seeing your life drain in front of your eye, like a battery:
To provide you with a sense of urgency and motivation to live your life to the fullest.
To encourage you to be more mindful and present in your daily life.
To help plan your life better, such as prioritizing your goals and making the most of the time you have left.
To pursue your passions, while also ensuring that you don't waste time on things that don't bring you happiness or fulfillment.
To help you to prioritize your time and focus on the things that truly matter to you
To motivate you to focus on the things that matter. Knowing you have a finite amount of time left could motivate you to pursue your dreams, travel, spend more time with loved ones, and make the most of every moment.
To help you plan for your future with greater precision, both financially and personally.
To help you prioritize your life goals and make better decisions.
To avoid wasting time on activities that don't align with your values or aspirations.
To help you plan your life better. If you know how much time you have left, you could make better decisions about how to allocate your resources such as:
Create a will: Creating a will is one of the most important things you can do to allocate your resources after you pass away. A will outlines how you want your assets distributed and can help prevent legal disputes among family members.
Review your finances: Review your finances to make sure that your debts are paid off and that you have enough resources to cover your end-of-life expenses, such as funeral and medical costs.
Consider your legacy: Think about how you want to be remembered and what kind of impact you want to leave behind. This could include making charitable donations, creating a scholarship fund, or leaving a legacy gift to a cause that's important to you.
Communicate with your loved ones: Communicate your wishes to your loved ones and involve them in the decision-making process. This can help prevent conflicts and ensure that your resources are allocated according to your wishes.
Get professional advice: Seek professional advice from an attorney, financial planner, or estate planning professional to ensure that your resources are allocated in the most effective and tax-efficient manner possible.
You could also use the knowledge to plan meaningful experiences and make sure that you accomplish everything you want to before your time is up
If you knew you only had a limited amount of time left, you might be more inclined to appreciate the small moments and make the most of your time with loved ones.

What will you do with the time you have left?
