In response to this idea, evaluations were made by Muslim economists and Islamic scholars and it was stated that it is not possible to establish a stock exchange that fully complies with Islamic rules in the short term under the current conditions and that it is appropriate to choose from companies traded on existing stock exchanges.
The concept of Islamic index, which is applied in various countries of the world, emerged in our country after 2011 under the name of Participation Index and is now determined by Borsa Istanbul in line with the "Guide to be taken as basis in determining the companies operating in accordance with the Participation Finance Principles" determined by the Advisory Board of the Participation Banks Association of Turkey (TKBB). has started to be implemented.

For Participation Index investors, whose numbers have reached millions thanks to the awareness activities carried out by Borsa Istanbul, CMB and Volunteer social media platforms; There is a need for data providers that will assist in investment decisions, such as investment instruments that comply with Islamic finance principles, financial data of companies, and their compliance with Islamic Finance principles.
