My only regret is not finding this sooner. It's so easy to use. Not perfect, definitely look over clipped recipes to be sure it copied everything, and it can have trouble with recipes that are very integrated into a blog or article, but honestly still 5*
You guys figured it out. You somehow figured out how to build a recipe database without an ingredient database. Genius! Building an ingredient database with the proper units and conversion was always the most time consuming task. With cheftap I can scale recipes easily.
It does take about 30 seconds for the recipe to hit the app. I thought it would be instantaneous and was getting frustrated. Just give it some time.
Love it! Great way to keep recipes, esp. across devices. Wish all the foodie apps talked to each other. Using SG8+ & Asus tab.
Excellent tool for storing recipes - both ingredients and steps! Successfully imports recipes from many sites, even ones it's never seen before! The few it doesn't quite get right, it provides you with the tools to quickly fix, which is why it's better than many of the other apps out there.
A brilliant and well thought out app. The fact that you can use it for free for up to 100 recipes means that you can do a meaningful test before going pro. One tip is be a little patient once you've clipped a recipe as it isn't an instant copy. I'm only talking about seconds but it could look like its not worked. Definitely recommend this app.
