Recent Highlights turns your last 30 days of photos into a daily wallpaper, automatically. The morning coffee, the weekend walk, the candid shot you forgot you took. Your phone surfaces them while you go about your day.

Recollect is a daily wallpaper changer built around your own photos. It picks meaningful images from your gallery and rotates them onto your lock screen and home screen on a schedule you control. No accounts. No logins. No analytics. Your phone, your memories, your wallpaper.

Recent Highlights (Pro)
A curated stream of your last 30 days. The app reads only photo dates and basic metadata, then quietly skips screenshots, blurry shots, and burst duplicates so only the moments worth seeing make it through. Updates itself every day. Tomorrow's wallpaper is already waiting in the queue. No machine learning, no off-device processing. Just clean, deterministic rules that respect your time and your battery.

On This Day (Pro)
See photos from this exact date in past years. The hike from three summers ago, the dinner from last winter, the birthday from before that. A small daily window into your own history, surfaced in the one place you look most: your phone.

Build your own collections
Group photos by trip, season, mood, or person, then pick one to be your active wallpaper set. A "Greece 2024" collection one week, a "Studio Music" collection the next. Switch between collections with a tap. Free users can build one collection. Recollect Pro removes the cap and lets you keep as many as you want.

Choose your rhythm
- Once a day, at a time you pick (great for slow, deliberate change)
- Every few hours (more variety throughout the day)
- Every time you unlock your phone (Pro, for a fresh wallpaper at every glance)

Wallpaper rotation continues across reboots. Pauses gracefully when battery is low. Runs only when actually fetching or applying something, so it stays light on battery and data.

Privacy by default
Recollect was designed to be a wallpaper app that does not need a backend. Concretely, that means:

- It uses the Android system photo picker, so you choose exactly which photos the app can see
- Your photos never leave your device
- The On This Day and Recent Highlights scans are performed entirely on-device
