About this app

"Priorities" is the most effective to-do app you'll ever need. This method is used by famous investors and business people. If they can get by their schedule with this simple method for getting things done, we should be able to do it as well.

See, the productivity novices over-organize their tasks. They label everything, categorize everything, color code everything, mark items as favorites, bookmark, create well-structured folders, keep everything neat and tidy in multiple lists. The result? They never look at those tasks again.

"Priorities" changes that. Every day, you mindfully choose to focus on 3 to 5 most impactful tasks that will help you reach your goals. Then execute like crazy and actually do them.

Repeat this for long enough, you'll become as effective as one can be, and be happy that you didn't procrastinate by organizing tasks.

"Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away".

I have used this app for many years to manage my daily tasks, and find the soft limit of focusing on three tasks per day to be highly productive. While I would love to provide five stars with this review, there are some bugs that can be annoying to deal with for a simple task app. For example, all of my tasks disappeared today, but I was able to retrieve them by reinstalling the app. There are some other minor issues such as duplicate notifications. Overall though, the app works well enough.

Very good! Over the years I've used various to do apps with all sorts of lists, subtasks, bells and whistles. I decided to give this a whirl and it has been amazing! It's not overwhelming like other to do apps and leaves me with a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day, rather than a feeling of needing to do more. The one thing I wish I could change is the frequency of reminders throughout the day. I'd like less / none. Edit: Turning off notifications entirely through app settings worked.

Edith, thank you for the generous feedback! Really appreciate it! We're working to make the notifications more customizable but also intend to provide a sensible default to not make it hard to setup. You could turn off notifications in Android app settings for the app for now. Let us know if that works for you? Best!

I've tried lots of complex DoLists that let me summarize Goals & Done Tasks many ways, but I've spent more time planning than doing. This app simply lets me focus on the top 3 things I want to do today, and not worry about the rest. When I finish my #1 task, I tap it to show it's done. If I don't want to start Task #2 just yet, I can scroll down and add a new task instead, and slide it up to the top of the list. Alternately, I can add a task from my backlog instead. I can also export to Sheets.
