About this game

Enter Gridveil, a calm but demanding Sudoku roguelite where every solved board is only one step through the Rift.

Solve handcrafted Sudoku encounters while managing Focus, Thread and optional Oaths. Rune cells can restore resources, reward careful sequencing or change value under advanced modifiers. Between encounters, choose routes and build a run around Sigils that alter recovery, reveals, scoring and risk.

• Master 30 optional Rift Trials with Clear, Silver and Gold goals.
• Take on an offline Daily Rift generated deterministically from the local calendar date.
• Explore replayable Veil Expedition runs with branching seeded routes.
• Attempt Iron Path for stricter resources and harsher mistakes.
• Chain compact boards in Rift Relay with shared resources.
• Replay shareable seed codes to reproduce the same generated run.

BUILT AROUND SUDOKU
Gridveil keeps standard Sudoku logic at its core. Roguelite systems change the decisions around a puzzle rather than replacing Sudoku with random combat or opaque rules. Notes, reveals, runes, Oaths and Sigils create different priorities while every authored Sudoku remains validated for a unique solution.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
Gridveil requires no account and has no ads, analytics, tracking or in-app purchases. The game has no Internet permission. Progress, settings and resumable run state are stored locally on your device. Android system backup/device transfer may restore local data when enabled by your device settings.

ACCESSIBLE MOBILE PLAY
The interface adapts across phones, tablets and resizable windows. Sudoku cells expose accessibility semantics, keyboard input is supported where appropriate, important rune states use labels as well as color, haptics are optional, and Reduce Motion is available.
