About this app
"MinguWeb" is a platform for collecting, sharing, and disseminating information about "Mingu"—traditional everyday items and personal tools.
From old tools lying dormant in your home to museum exhibits, you can register and share Mingu cards, allowing anyone to exchange information and interact by teaching each other things and sharing their thoughts.
You can also share and search for information on events, exhibitions, and literature related to Mingu.
What you can do on "MinguWeb" (partial list)
◯ Create and share your own Mingu cards!
Registering just the name and photo of your Mingu is OK! You can also add, modify, or delete information later. You can also request specific information by adding a "?" (question mark) to the items you register.
〈For general users〉
You can register and share information about your everyday tableware, clothing, furniture, old farming and fishing tools that have been stored away, or old furniture you found in antique shops, using Mingu cards. Through interaction with museum staff, researchers, and people who love antiques, you might gain information and knowledge you never knew before!
〈For Museums and Other Institutions〉
This platform can be used to publish information on folk artifacts. If there are materials with missing information, you can publish even just photos to solicit information. Information sharing and exchange can transcend the boundaries of experts and non-experts, regions, and institutions.

Anyone can freely view all registered and published folk artifact cards, and freely comment on or like folk artifacts that interest them, or provide information on items marked with a "?" (question mark).
◯ Register and share literature information on folk artifacts!
You can register and share books, papers, and web articles written about folk artifacts as literature information.
◯ Register and share information on folk artifact events and exhibitions!
You can register and share information about events and exhibitions (permanent and special exhibitions) related to folk artifacts.
◯ Find the information you want with full-text search!
You can find the information you want from all the information registered on "MingWeb" using full-text search.
