Similar in intention and basic functionality to chessify. Converts a picture or a captured chess position image from an electronic book into a FEN, then allows its analysis with an engine. Seems reliable. Chessify is older and offers more features. Worth installing and tinkering with it. I think it is a great start.

Thanks for your feedback!
New functionality of the app will be added in the near future in a new version.

The app prompts you to take a picture of your chess board and crop it to just the board. Each time I did so, then pressed to move, it showed an ad before saying there was an error with the picture. There is no option to just use a default board and manually move the pieces to match. Just seems like a scam to get free ad views.

This could be a nice app. Unfortunately it is blighted by too many ads. Please also allow users a choice of colours. Also it isn't clear whether the analysis just shows the best move or can be made to show the relative values of other candidate moves.
Thank you for such an extended review! We will reduce the number of ad impressions.
Preliminarily, the best move is determined by the Stockfish v.13 engine with a depth of 20 , but you can also analyze other moves in detail by clicking on the Analyze button.
