When labor begins, it's hard to remember start and end times and calculate intervals in your head — especially in the middle of the night. Pressing a tiny button precisely, or telling false labor from real labor, isn't easy either.

Contraction Note makes that moment simple. When a contraction comes, tap the screen once; when it ends, tap again. The app takes care of the rest.

■ One-tap timing — the whole screen is the button
Even if your hands shake from pain or drowsiness, a tap anywhere records it. Tapping start and end automatically calculates the duration and the interval (measured from the start of one contraction to the start of the next). Timing continues even if the screen turns off, and a mistaken tap can be undone in one step.

■ 5-1-1 signal guide (for reference)
Based on the average interval, duration, and regularity of your recent contractions, the app shows your current status as a three-step signal: "Rest and keep watching → Regular contractions are showing → Consider contacting your hospital." This is not a medical instruction — it's guidance to help you gauge when to reach out.

■ History view · share with your care team
Every contraction is logged in order, with a one-line summary pinned at the top, like "9 contractions · avg interval 5m 30s · avg duration 50s." You can read it aloud over the phone, or copy and share it to give your care team the exact pattern.

■ No internet, no login needed
Every feature works without internet. There is no sign-up or login, and your contraction records are stored only on your phone — never sent anywhere. Your records stay safe even in airplane mode or when the connection drops.

■ It won't interrupt the moment you're getting through labor
There is a small banner at the bottom of the screen, but no ads interrupt you while you are timing a contraction. No full-screen ads cover the timing screen.

■ Comfortable at night, too
A bright, warm screen is the default, and at night it automatically switches to a low-glare dark screen. You can also choose it yourself in settings.
